Meet Miki and George, the passionate founders behind Shakafuni Farms. After retiring from successful careers in technology, the couple found a new calling during the pandemic: increasing local food sources. Miki, who was born and raised in Hawaii, felt a deep responsibility to contribute positively to the 'aina, especially in challenging times. With their children having grown and moved out, Miki and George now pour their love and energy into the farm, assisted by their four furry friends: Hoku, Stella, Mochi, and Gigi.
